Location/Division Specific Information:
Our Hillsboro site produces world-class electron microscopes used by scientists and engineers to drive innovation around the globe. This role works collaboratively to produce high-quality systems used in the Semiconductor industry.
The Manufacturing Team Lead is responsible for directing a team of hourly colleagues within a test manufacturing environment. The primary responsibilities include day-to-day oversight of departmental goals for Safety Quality Delivery Inventory Productivity and Employee Development. This position works closely with manufacturing leadership and engineering teams to ensure quick resolution to issues affecting the manufacturing build process.
Employee Development
Individual development plans
Provide coaching and training to team
Conducting performance evaluations
Give and receive employee feedback
Staffing
Time-card administration and over-time management
PTO and overall attendance tracking
Workload Management
Plan and track daily and weekly production metrics to supervise work in progress
Facilitate regular team meetings to discuss updates on workload
Resolve production problems in real time
Oversee & drive 6S program in areas of ownership
First line of response for manufacturing team when they face problems
Report out results and barriers to execution to upper management
