Job Description
We are currently hiring as Assistant Manager in Production Department for Electrical Equipment Manufacturing Company at Suncity / Halol Gujarat.
Job Details
Position: Assistant Manager Production
Location: Halol Gujarat
Experience: 5 to 8 years experience in Production preferably in the bushing or transformer manufacturing industry
Main Department: Production Planning & Control
Sub Department: - Production
Qualification required: - B.E. (Mechanical / Electrical preferred)

Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Hands-on experience with SAP/ERP
- Knowledge of OEE UEOB and turnaround strategies
- Proficiency in production scheduling and forecasting
- Excellent coordination and communication abilities
Duties & Responsibilities:
Production Planning & Capacity Management:
- Monitor and analyse Plan vs. Actual performance
- Track and optimize plant capacity utilization
- Assess and report manufacturing and product-wise capacity
Manage and map UEOB (Unexecuted Order Booking)
- Material and Sales Coordination:
- Forecast material requirements based on sales planning
- Coordinate production plans in line with material availability
- Align monthly production plans with sales forecasts
Inventory & Systems Control:
- Maintain optimal inventory levels through efficient inventory control
- Utilize SAP or other ERP systems for planning and execution
- Monitor FG (Finished Goods) and WIP (Work in Progress) status
Efficiency & Improvement:
- Calculate and improve Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE)
- Minimize turnaround times and drive continuous improvement
- Support scheduling activities to ensure timely deliveries
Production Models:
- Handle Make to Order Make to Stock and Kanban models
