Job Summary for Security Consultant (Dallas TX Contract Onsite)
Need local candidates - There will be F2F interview with client.
Technical Responsibilities:
- Install manage and troubleshoot Cisco ISE including RADIUS TACACS 802.1x Profiling and Guest workflows.
- Configure and troubleshoot Cisco and Palo Alto firewalls including Panorama.
- Manage firewall security policies zone configuration address sets user roles and application controls.
- Work with various security technologies: Firewalls VPNs IDS/IPS endpoint security (AV HIPS Disk Encryption) authentication (RSA SecurID) and content security gateways (Cisco IronPort).
- Configure and support F5 load balancers.
- Perform firewall auditing and update access control lists.
- Analyze and troubleshoot network security incidents using logs alerts and vulnerability scans.
- Evaluate systems for security settings and vulnerabilities.
- Participate in on-call support rotation for security incidents.
- Manage log management solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Adhere to best practices regulations and deliverables for high-quality service.
Non-Technical Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with team members to ensure resource availability and quality of work.
- Review and validate technical configuration changes for accuracy.
- Collaborate with COE and escalate technical issues to OEM when necessary.
- Conduct risk and impact analysis; communicate dependencies and concerns.
- Participate in meetings present findings and articulate technical risks.
Other Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with security technologies and multiple platforms.
- Solid understanding of routing protocols and ITIL processes.
- Good presentation and communication skills for team and client interactions.
- Local candidates only; must be available for face-to-face interview and onsite work.
