Job Description
Radiology Tech $59.78/hr
About Facility:
o 1130 Tree of Life Lane Cornelius NC 28031
o Licensed Beds: 35
o ED: # of beds - 8
o ICU: # of beds - 4
o Med/Tele: # of beds - 20
o Labor/Delivery: # of beds 4 LDRs; 9 Mother Baby
o Facility offers X-Ray CT Ultrasound and MRI imaging services
o No Trauma Designation
o Not a Teaching Hospital
o Not a Chest Pain Center
o Not currently Stroke accredited
o Radius rule: Travelers permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit
Department Information:
o Department performs an average of 30 studies/weekday and 14 studies on weekends
Outpatients are scheduled on weekends
o Minimum Years of Experience required 2 years
o Will you accept a first-time traveler Yes
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
o Department will serve ED Inpatient Observation Intra-operative and Outpatient patients
Required License National Certification Certifications (BLS ACLS NIHSS etc.) or other position specific requirements such as Drivers License and/or Insurance:
o ARRT-R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (R)) required
o BLS
Skills required:
o Ability to work in fast-paced imaging department completing routine and STAT radiography exams for inpatient outpatient and emergency patients. Ability to operate portable and C-Arm equipment with proficiency.
