Job Description
Sr. Business Analyst
Contract Type: Full Time
Location: Remote (The candidate must be a Resident of Florida)
Minimum Skills Required:
- Analyze and understand the existing business processes identifying areas for improvement and recommending process changes to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Collaborate with stakeholders including end-users managers and IT teams to gather and document business requirements. This will involve conducting interviews workshops and meetings to elicit comprehensive and accurate requirements
- Work closely with the project team to translate business requirements into User Stories technical specifications and system design for the configuration customization and overall implementation of the Catalis Benchmark system.
- Assist with testing activities including test planning test case creation and test execution to ensure the quality and reliability of the system
- Identify risks and issues related to business analysis activities and work proactively to mitigate them. Escalate critical issues as needed to ensure timely resolution.

- Analytical thinking: Ability to assess business problems and develop solutions. Technical proficiency: Familiarity with data analysis tools databases and business intelligence software
- Communication skills: Strong ability to present findings and collaborate with teams. Project management: Experience managing business projects and working with cross- functional teams
- Problem-solving: Ability to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements
The Sr Business Analyst must have:
- Minimum 7 years of Business Analysis with a focus on IT projects. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understand Agile Scrum or Waterfall project management approaches
- Expertise in business intelligence tools SQL and data visualization
- Certifications like Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) is not required but can be beneficial
