We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Guest Service Associate - Housekeeping to join our team in Gandhinagar India. As a key member of our housekeeping department you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in our hotel.
- Clean and maintain guest rooms public areas and assigned spaces according to established standards and procedures
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns
- Ensure proper stocking and organization of housekeeping carts and supply areas
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and maintain a positive work environment
- Adhere to all safety and security protocols including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Assist in deep cleaning projects and special assignments as needed
- Maintain accurate records of cleaned rooms and completed tasks
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on best practices and new procedures
- Contribute to creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for all guests
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role in the hospitality industry preferred
- In-depth knowledge of cleaning techniques procedures and safety standards
- Proficiency in using various housekeeping equipment and chemicals
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with guests and team members
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and stand for extended periods
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Flexible schedule with availability to work weekends holidays and different shifts as required
- Basic problem-solving skills and ability to report maintenance issues effectively
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist colleagues when needed
- Time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic understanding of hotel operations and guest service standards
- Commitment to ongoing learning and improvement in housekeeping practices
