Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Guest Service Associate - Housekeeping to join our team in Gandhinagar India. As a key member of our housekeeping department you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in our hotel.

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms public areas and assigned spaces according to established standards and procedures
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns
  • Ensure proper stocking and organization of housekeeping carts and supply areas
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and maintain a positive work environment
  • Adhere to all safety and security protocols including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • Assist in deep cleaning projects and special assignments as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of cleaned rooms and completed tasks
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on best practices and new procedures
  • Contribute to creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for all guests

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role in the hospitality industry preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of cleaning techniques procedures and safety standards
  • Proficiency in using various housekeeping equipment and chemicals
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with guests and team members
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
  • Flexible schedule with availability to work weekends holidays and different shifts as required
  • Basic problem-solving skills and ability to report maintenance issues effectively
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist colleagues when needed
  • Time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Basic understanding of hotel operations and guest service standards
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and improvement in housekeeping practices
