Senior Technical Business Analyst with Mulesoft Integration Experience-Melbourne
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst to join our growing team supporting mission-critical integration initiatives powered by MuleSoft. This role requires strong technical acumen proven business analysis capability and exceptional communication skills to bridge the gap between business and technical teams across agencies.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the elicitation analysis and documentation of integration requirements for complex MuleSoft projects

Engage directly with senior business stakeholders architects and developers across multiple agencies

Create detailed functional and non-functional requirements interface specifications and data mappings
-
Facilitate workshops walkthroughs and stakeholder presentations to ensure alignment and clarity
-
Translate business processes and integration use cases into detailed API requirements
-
Support testing validation and troubleshooting of integrations throughout delivery
Required Skills and Experience:
-
7 years as a Business Analyst with at least 3 years in technical/integration projects

Strong experience working on MuleSoft or other API integration platforms

Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams including government and enterprise stakeholders

Deep understanding of API lifecycle RESTful services JSON/XML and system integration patterns

Excellent documentation skills use cases process flows interface specs sequence diagrams

Clear confident communicator with stakeholder engagement expertise at all levels
Desirable:

Previous experience in public sector integration or digital transformation projects

Familiarity with Agile delivery models and tools (e.g. JIRA Confluence)
