Senior Merchandiser
Job summary:
Carry out business development activities and be responsible for the planning and coordination of the activities and operations for assigned product lines from product design through product delivery to customers so as to satisfy customer needs and achieve business objections.
Principle duties:
Identify customer requirements so that the business development activities undertaken can fulfil customer needs.
Determine appropriate price quotations so that the organization can secure sales orders & maintain profitability.
Assist the Merchandising Manager to direct and coordinate the value chain process from Ordering to Production to Shipping so that products can be delivered to customers on time.
Liaise with manufacturers and PDM department to conduct sourcing and development activities.
Identify vendors for production and evaluate their production and service quality and work with the compliance team to ensure compliance standard.
Establish and manage relationships with overseas customers so that sales can be enhanced and job-related goals can be achieved.
Ensure to input all purchase orders details into our Company System within 2 weeks after order confirmation.
Monitor production process to ensure milestone tasks are properly managed and followed up.
Follow up and ensure all in-line inspections are conducted on time.
Prepare the QC files and pass them to the QC team on time.
Any other tasks/projects assigned.
