Job Description
Overview
Dignity Healths Pacific Central Coast Health Centers (PHC) is a non-profit Community clinic organization comprised of more than 40 health centers located primarily from Ventura to Templeton spanning the coast. Our experienced physicians and advanced practice providers offer a wide range of primary and specialty care services. PHC is a part of Dignity Health Central Coasts award-winning network of outstanding hospitals imaging centers laboratories and post-acute services.
Responsibilities
In keeping with the Pacific Central Coast Health Centers health care philosophy the Orthopedic Physician Assistant works together with an orthopedic trauma team to treat patients and support trauma program. The Orthopedic Physician Assistant will participate in the care of patients in the operating room and surgery pre-op and post-op care and on the floor. Will coordinate care with other services and evaluate and help manage patients in the emergency room.
Qualifications
PA State Certification.
DEA License.
1-3 years prior experience as a Physician Assistant.
Knowledge of physician assistant principles and techniques.
1-3 years prior experience in orthopedics is preferredhowever willing to train the right candidate.
