Veterinary Referral Coordinator

Heart of Texas is looking for an Veterinary Referral Coordinator to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.

About You
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Reports to the Client Relations Manager
  • Collaborate efficiently withspecialtydepartments Client Care Coordinators and the Veterinary Relations Partner
  • Monitor thespecialtydepartments consultationschedule dailyfor changes
  • Practice smartschedulingfor each department
  • Trackspecialtyreferrals from allsources (calls emails faxes ezyVet eReferrals)
  • Analyze referral data over time and create reports ensuring continued growth
  • Call and textclientsto schedulenew consultations and communicate between potential clients and hospital team
  • Answerclient questionsregardingscheduling and the exam process connect clients to departmental staff when needed
  • Calland email referring hospitals for medical records enter medical records in patient file after reviewing to ensure all pertinent information is received
  • Keepa friendly and professional demeanor when speaking to clients and all members of the referring clinic teams
JobRequirements:
  • Moderate veterinary medical knowledge to support review of medicalrecords
  • Minimum two years of experience in the veterinary field ideally in a referral practice
  • Time management skills and ability to work independently
  • Proficient in Adobe Acrobat ezyVet and Medallia Concierge with ability to learn new programs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including SharePoint with advanced knowledge of Excel to manage spreadsheets
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to accept and implement feedback adjust processes as needed
