Job Description

The Solution Consultant is a leadership role focused on onboarding MSI customers to the Service Pro platform and helping them maximize visibility efficiency and profitability. Working closely with a Project Manager youll guide customers through a smooth onboarding process ensuring alignment between their goals project milestones and implementation strategy.

As a trusted advisor youll collaborate directly with customers to understand their business processes and tailor our software to meet their needs. Youll provide hands-on training share industry best practices and offer strategic recommendations to drive successful platform adoption from onboarding through deployment.

Youll also partner with the Sales team to assess new opportunities identify potential implementation challenges and evaluate customer fit. Supporting MSIs implementation partners by providing training and problem-solving guidance is a key part of this role.

Reporting to the Manager of Professional Services youll operate with a high degree of autonomy lead by example mentor peers manage complex client engagements handle escalations professionally and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Team Dynamic

This role reports directly to the Manager of Professional Services. The right fit will work alongside the Professional Services team and contribute to software implementations for new and existing customers. The Solution Consultant also provides important insights to the Product Management team on new capabilities to consider for the Service Pro platform.

Requirements

Position Responsibilities:

As a Solution Consultant youll play a key role in onboarding customers to our Service Pro platform working side-by-side with a Project Manager to ensure successful implementations. Your focus will be on understanding business needs configuring solutions and delivering real value.

Implementation & Delivery

  • Lead onboarding efforts by assessing customer requirements and configuring our software to meet business needs.
  • Create documentation and workflows that guide customers through implementation and adoption.
  • Manage multiple implementation projects keeping them on track on time and aligned with scope.
  • Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and enhance platform functionality where needed.
  • Provide regular status updates to customers and ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Training & Customer Success

  • Deliver engaging live webinar training sessions tailored to each customers workflows.
  • Create test scripts and guide customers through User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Train customers on additional add-on products and help them adopt best practices in field service operations.
  • Support long-term customer success with scalable documentation mentoring and ongoing guidance

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems Business or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience as a Solution Consultant Technical Project Manager or in a similar customer-facing role.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with diverse teams including customers internal stakeholders and partners.
  • Excellent communication skills written verbal and interpersonal.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and shifting priorities.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a track record of delivering results independently.
  • Fast learner with the ability to quickly gain proficiency in new software products.
  • Comfortable reporting and communicating with all levels of stakeholders from peers to senior leadership and customers.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Strong technical aptitude and a natural curiosity for learning new technologies
  • Experience in roles such as technical project manager business analyst or sales engineer within B2B software environments
  • Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Teams JIRA and SQL
  • Experience demonstrating mobile applications to customers
  • Exposure to field service operations (e.g. Dispatcher Service Manager Field Technician)
  • Familiarity with B2B SaaS platforms such as or NetSuite
  • Working knowledge of technical skills including SQL APIs and integration methodologies
  • Demonstrated commitment and sense of urgency in meeting project deadlines

Because were in software we spend a lot of time in front of our computers of course! Because of this you should be prepared to remain in a stationary position during most working hours. This also means there is a basic expectation that youll be able to make effective use of a computer. We do value work/life balance but to cut down on interference of other work there may be expectations of availability on evenings and weekends.
