Position Title: Homebound Tutor-All Levels of High School Math
Position Type: High School Teaching
Location: Deerfield High School & Highland Park High School
Reports To: As directed by the building

QUALIFICATIONS (Required Experience or Training):

Valid Professional Educators Teaching License with endorsements in: Mathematics
Desired experience/training: Previous Homebound Tutoring experience

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teach prescribed academic coursework
Collaborate with colleagues regarding student assignments
Travel to students homes hospital or agreed-upon setting
Coordinate and collaborate with students and parents to schedule sessions
Maintain accurate records
Work 2-3 nights in the evenings (occasionally days) approximately 2-3 hours per session
The ability to coordinate student assignments during time of absence
The ability to navigate Schoology Learning Management System/Google docs ebooks and other online sources
The ability to communicate with students teachers about progress and/or assignment completion
The ability to communicate with home to schedule hours of tutoring
Progress monitor students work
Other duties as assigned
Must have reliable home internet service for remote learning if necessary
