ROLE SUMMARY
The Senior Director Global Access Strategy and Pricing (GASP) RSV Vaccine position will have major accountability in leading the optimization of the Global Value Access and Pricing strategy for Pfizers RSV Vaccine focusing an Older Adult indication and US policy and market shaping. The role will orchestrate Global Access and Value (GAV) efforts to achieve business objectives on a global basis by providing strategic leadership on access pricing optimal reimbursement launch sequencing patient value and evidence generation.
To achieve this the role will drive with support from GAV RSV team members and partnership with the cross-functional asset teams the development and execution of the Global Value & Access Strategy and have high visibility/access to senior leadership at US global and regional level. The role will lead the efforts to accelerate access for RSV OA indication drive differentiation with competitors and shape tenders to reflect the true value of Abrysvo vs. competition.
In addition the role will lead together with GASP pipeline leads the development of the US integrated value and access strategy for early/late clinical programs and implementation of key tactics needed to generate rapid broad and sustainable access in US as needed.
Finally the role will be responsible to work on critical US policy projects and initiatives to improve the access landscape for vaccines.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead strategy development and tactical execution to accelerate access for RSV OA indication drive differentiation with competitors and shape tenders to reflect the true value of Abrysvo
- Lead development of Global Access and Pricing Strategies that ensure value for payers patients physicians & Pfizer
- Develop clear value messages that resonate with Access stakeholders
- Identify innovative Global Access & Value solutions to overcome current/future obstacles to vaccine funding & uptake
- Lead with GASP pipeline teams the development of the US integrated value and access strategy for early/late clinical programs and implementation of key tactics needed to generate rapid broad and sustainable access in US as needed.
- Proactively identify linkages between development strategy decisions and global market access implications
- Shape the access vision and strategy for Pfizers RSV Vaccines
- Foster a strong collaborative partnership culture
Specifically:
- Represent the Voice of the Payer at cross-functional team and governance bodies
- Deliver recommendations relating to price and access strategies payer strategy pricing and reimbursement evidence generation data collection and value proposition taking into consideration market archetype and lifecycle considerations
- Lead price and market access input to cross-functional team deliverables to ensure GAV considerations are incorporated into team recommendations at key governance milestones (e.g. organize VANTAC meetings)
- Develop deliverables related to asset value: value identification value creation value communication
- Orchestrate working closely with HEOR colleagues the development of access evidence data packages and strategies
- Lead collaboration & communication with external experts on evidence generation & scientific data exchange
- Provide Value & Access expertise & insights to support internal efforts related to best practices asset milestone decisions revenue forecast assumptions
- Generate & synthesize payer insights through the creation and maintenance of expertise in payer regulation and priorities across major countries / archetypes across the globe:
- Assessment and communication of external access trends to anticipate potential challenges and opportunities
- Gather and synthesize feedback for development programs with health technology assessment agencies payers and relevant patient associations
- Lead early engagement work with prioritized Access stakeholders
In addition in this role you will be expected to:
- Set the ambition and vision for value-based access
- Develop effective processes and ways of working to support collaboration with key internal stakeholder groups (e.g. commercial medical public affairs colleagues)
- Identify new opportunities for value creation based on an understanding of health care systems and the potential benefits of Pfizer medicines
- Lead development of innovative approaches to evidence generation which meet payer needs and integrate these with the needs of other customers
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers develop and coach others oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
- Bachelors degree minimum required; Advanced degree in a healthcare business or economic field preferred (PhD PharmD MS MBA MPH ...)
- Minimum of 12 years experience in healthcare environment preferably pharmaceutical industry or related consulting services sufficient to have developed a deep understanding of the global payer and market access environment
- Experience in leading and executing Pricing & Access strategies and deliverables for US and international markets
- Experience of leading and managing cross-functional teams in a cross-cultural environment
- Experience with Global product launches and developing pre-launch positioning and strategies
- Ability to influence without direct authority
- Experience of progressing assets from early development to inline and presenting access strategies and business cases to senior management
- Familiarity with strategic and operating planning processes
- Knowledge and understanding of health economics and associated skills
- Knowledge & experience in Vaccines therapeutic area preferred

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $204700.00 to $341100.00. In addition this position is eligible for participation in Pfizers Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 22.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
