The Mitigation Manager oversees field operations for water mold fire and environmental mitigation services across residential and commercial properties. This role manages day-to-day crew scheduling ensures proper execution of restoration procedures and coordinates with customers external and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery. The Mitigation Manager also contributes to business performance through strong leadership resource planning and accurate estimating using industry-standard tools like Xactimate and Restoration Manager.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise and lead field crews on mitigation projects (water mold fire board-up tarping etc.)
Ensure safety efficiency and quality standards are maintainedon all jobs.
Schedule and dispatch technicians vehicles and equipment for timely project execution.
Serve as the primary contact for customers and insurance adjusters during active jobs.
Write and review job estimates in Xactimate with accuracy and adherence to scope.
Scans
Maintain detailed documentation for claims equipment usage and project status.
Participate in after-hours emergency service rotation and respond promptly to urgent calls.
Maintain clean trucks warehouse inventory and equipment logs in proper working order.
Collaborate with the GM and team leaders to optimize field operations and improve workflows.
Train coach and support technician development and job readiness.
Qualifications
3-5 years of field experience in restoration or mitigation operations
2 years of management or supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of water mold and fire restoration techniques.
Proficient in Xactimate estimating software.
Project management experience including juggling multiple job at the same time.
Strong communication skills with customers teams and industry professionals.
