Who are we looking for
Due to continued rapid growth and expansion of the Integrated Water Management Group and we are seeking a Senior Water Resource Engineer in our Ontario Region to continue our expansion of a highly successful group. The successful candidate will be part of the leadership of the water practice in the Ontario region and will work collaboratively with our global Water Practice to expand our market position in Canada as well as lead and develop our technical resources and capabilities.
The successful candidate will have strong leadership collaboration business development project/program management and technical engineering skills.

Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
Undertaking and leading a range of stormwater management projects for industrial site development flood mitigation and compliance.
Preparing water resource design reports drawings construction specifications and permit applications.
Providing QA/QC and guidance of junior and intermediate staff.
Liaising with clients municipalities and review agencies to confirm design criteria address comments and confirm scope of work
Project management with the client and other design disciplines while managing schedule and budget
Prepare budgets proposals costs and time estimates and lead proposal preparation.
Coordination with other engineering disciplines for integrated multi-discipline design
Developing and maintaining client relationships being the key client contact for water resource related projects.
Skills Competencies and Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering (preferably Civil / Water Resources / Environmental Engineering).
Professional Engineer () license in Ontario.
Minimum 10 years experience in conducting water resource projects preferably in a consulting role.
Professional experience with water resources engineering including hydrology hydraulics storm water management water balances flood management storm sewer design and drainage design.
Thorough understanding of MECP and Conservation stormwater guidelines
Proven technical writing and communication skills.
Must hold a valid drivers license in Ontario and willing to travel within Ontario and Canada as required.
Experience using specialized numerical modelling software (e.g. SWMM HEC-HMS HEC-RAS PCSWMM) would be considered an asset.
