Prof Bulls Lab is housed within the state-of-the-art facilities of the School of Biomedical Sciences and is affiliated with leading research centres such as the Kirby Institute. The School of Biomedical Sciences builds strong multidisciplinary collaboration bringing together a community of scientists across diverse disciplines. We develop capacity in clinical research health services research and biomedical sciences to improve health and translate research outcomes into real-world benefits for all. The Kirby Institute is a world-leading health research institute at UNSW Sydney. It works to eliminate infectious diseases globally. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and innovative team tackling pressing global health challenges.
Prof Bulls Lab focuses on human immunology and virology particularly in the context of infectious diseases such as hepatitis C and SARS-CoV-2. The lab uses cutting-edge systems immunology viral genomics and translational research approaches to understand viral persistence immune response and treatment outcomes.
Why this role matters:
As the Post-Doctoral Fellow/Senior Research Associate (Level A/B) you will be expected to contribute to multiple ongoing projects with opportunities to lead independent lines of investigation within the broader research program. The role of Post-Doctoral Fellow will report to Head of the Bull Lab.
