WHAT WE OFFER
- Casual Role: DIDO outage located at RTAY in Yarwun QLD
- Project Dates:Start datefrom mid-Augustrunning approximately until mid-September
- Roster: Dayshift: 10:1 Nightshift: 7:1 12-hour shifts
- Competitive Rate:EBA rates $70.15 p/h (including 25% casual loading) OT Penalties (from base rate) Site Allowance
- Other Benefits:Join a supportive team delivering Downers RTAY outage. LAFHA or Accommodation is provided to distant workers
THE OPPORTUNITY
DownersEnergy & Utilitiesbusiness hasopportunities for casual Special Class Welders todeliver outage services to RTAY in Yarwun QLD. Commencing mid-August 2025 Downer will be providing mechanical and project services throughout the outage supporting the boiler maintenance and repair. You will provide your expertise in piping set up structural and welding fabrication boiler casings etc ensuring that work is completed safely effectively and to the required standard.
ABOUT YOU
- Site Proficient:Experienced in outages and projects in the power generation or heavy industrial sector
- Team Oriented:Have an ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills
- Workplace Safety:Committed to the safety and wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues
- Qualifications:Enter and work in confined spaces (RIIWHS202E) Working at heights (RIIWHS204E) (within 2 years) Construction white card
- Trade cert All Welding qualifications will need to complete a weld test and VOC prior to commencement on site
