Were looking for a driven Plant Manager to join our leadership team and help take our business to the next level.
Position Summary: The Plant Manager will oversee daily operations drive process improvement and lead cross-functional teams to ensure consistent performance safety quality and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage people systems and performance metrics while maintaining a hands-on approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Lead and manage daily operational activities (e.g. production scheduling maintenance and tool room).
- Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency reduce costs and increase output.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure goals are met or exceeded.
- Partner with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery to customers.
- Develop and coach team members promoting a high-performance culture.
- Manage scheduling staffing training consumables and resource planning.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategy budgets and capacity planning.
- All other duties assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Engineering Operations Management or related field; MBA is a plus.
- 5 years of experience in operations management preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proven experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving analytical and communication skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
