Collision Shop Manager Local Established Business
We are a well-established locally owned collision repair business that has been proudly serving our community for decades. We are currently seeking an experienced Collision Shop Manager to lead our team and help continue our tradition of high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.
Position Overview:
The Collision Shop Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations leading a team of technicians and support staff managing workflow and ensuring that repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with extensive collision repair experience excellent organizational skills and a passion for customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of the collision repair process from vehicle intake to final delivery
Lead coach and motivate technicians estimators and support staff
Ensure repairs are performed safely efficiently and to industry standards
Manage production schedules and shop workflow
Monitor quality control and maintain high standards for repairs
Work closely with insurance partners and customers to ensure smooth communication and satisfaction
Manage parts ordering vendor relationships and inventory
Maintain compliance with all safety environmental and company policies
Qualifications:
Prior experience managing a collision repair facility or body shop
Strong leadership and team management skills
In-depth knowledge of collision repair processes estimating and insurance procedures
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
