Olsen Thielen a progressive and well-established 100 year-old firm headquartered in Roseville MN with an additional office in Eden Prairie is seeking an experienced Seasonal Tax Manager to join our team during busy season (January-April) each year and opportunity for the right candidate to work 100% remotely. This unique opportunity allows you to make a significant impact during tax season while enjoying the flexibility of seasonal work.

Essential Functions:
- Tax Review: Perform technical reviews and approvals of tax returns.
- Tax Planning: Lead tax research and planning projects that impact strategic client growth.
- Client Meetings: Participate in client discussions to develop strategies and solutions.
- Leadership: Mentor and guide staff by addressing complex tax questions and providing feedback.
- Communication: Share important tax law updates with internal teams and clients.
- Project Management: Ensure timely and efficient completion of significant tax engagements.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related fields such as Finance Business or Economics.
- Certification: CPA certification (MBT is a plus but not required).
- Experience: 4-6 years of tax experience including leadership and consulting roles.
- Skills: Strong technical tax expertise leadership abilities and excellent communication (written and oral).
- Passion: A commitment to delivering high-quality service and achieving growth for the firm and its clients.

Olsen Thielen offers a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to reward performance and recognize your value to the firm. The starting salary range for this role is $90000 to $110000 based on factors like experience qualifications and organizational needs. Compensation also includes a bonus structure and eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive program. Pay will be prorated based on the seasonal workload.
