The mission of the District Attorneys Office is to seek justice through:
Responsible for the supervision of administrative and technical support staff in one or more programs of the District Attorneys Office. Responsible for performing advanced and or complex technical work in assigned areas; providing technical direction and problem resolution to program services and activities; ensuring staff and program compliance with applicable laws regulations policy and procedures.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED
Work under the general direction of the Administrative Services Manager or Trial Team Leader who determines goals assigns work and reviews performance through reports observation and conferences.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED
Exercise full supervision over administrative and technical support employees and volunteers. Incumbents participate in selecting new personnel provide for training evaluate performance respond to grievances and recommend personnel actions.
Supervisor to Adult Prosecution and Juvenile Support Staff:
Point of contact for other support staff in all District Attorney divisions.
Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
Thorough knowledge of principles and procedures of supervision; legal terminology and principles; criminal/civil/administrative court legal procedures; statistical research techniques and procedures; modern office procedures and methods; capabilities and usage of modern office equipment; data collection techniques; English composition spelling and grammar; public relations techniques and concepts.
Considerable skill and ability to organize and maintain modern administrative legal systems and procedures; communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Conduct independent research; define administrative problems and procedures. Collect evaluate and summarize data; prepare clear and concise reports. Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with other employees and the public; operate modern office equipment; supervise the work of assigned staff.
PUBLIC SERVICE LOAN FORGIVENESS
Marion County is a qualifying public employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program. Through the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program full-time employees working at the County may qualify for forgiveness of the remaining balance on Direct Loans after 120 qualifying monthly payments under a qualifying repayment plan. Questions about your loan eligibility should be directed to your loan servicer or the US Department of Education.
VISA SPONSORSHIP
Marion County does not offer VISA sponsorship. Within three days of hireyou will be required to complete the US Department of Homeland Securitys I-9 form confirming authorization to work in the United States.
