The Amazon Supplier Risk Auditor Planner plays a crucial role in enhancing the companys global procurement operations and solidifying Amazons position as a world-class leader in Supplier Management. This position is integral to the Global Supplier Management team and is responsible for orchestrating audits across the entire Global Procurement Organization (GPO).
The primary focus of this role is to meticulously plan and schedule audits with carefully selected suppliers within a specified region. This task requires a high level of coordination and collaboration with various internal departments including the GPOs Category GPS SPO and GSM organizations. The Auditor Planner must navigate these complex organizational structures to ensure seamless audit execution and maximize operational efficiency. In addition to internal coordination the role involves external engagement with audit vendors. The Auditor Planner will be responsible for establishing and managing schedules for outsourced audits ensuring that all external partners align with Amazons high standards and expectations.

Key job responsibilities
Schedule and coordinate supplier audits both on-site and remote
Communicate with relevant stakeholders auditors and suppliers to ensure audit schedule alignment
Track schedule changes and make adjustments with all involved with planning
Improve audit scheduling processes
Build relationships with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders
Identify and implement process optimization opportunities
Track corrective actions and follow up on audit findings
Contribute to the development of supplier performance metrics and scorecards
Participate in supplier selection and evaluation processes as needed
Maintain audit records and documentation in compliance with company processes
Assist in the development and implementation of supplier quality improvement initiatives

About the team
The Global Supplier Management team comprises multi-disciplinary experts specializing in quality assurance supplier qualifications operational excellence and new product qualifications. We prioritize identifying risk with suppliers before they are realized by Amazons supply chain by executing detailed assessments and audits during the lifecycle of our suppliers.
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or 5 years in scheduling or planning role
- Strong relationship building skills to foster positive outcomes during planning and changes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in planning or scheduling
- Experience in MS Word Excel and Outlook
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
- Strong knowledge of audit processes and quality management systems
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g. ISO 9001 AS9100)
- Experience with ERP systems and audit management software

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $57800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $106100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
