Comprehensive Payroll Company is a fully accredited payroll services company located in metro Detroit serving both local and national clients.

Our company was established in 2006 with the mission of providing a single-source payroll and HR solution for small to medium-sized businesses. Who We Are Looking For

We seeking an immediate full-time payroll specialist to work with our dedicated client base.

*This is NOT a remote position. This is an in office full-time position with a set schedule of Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.

The role will include the following duties:

  • Answering phones and greet any clients or visitors to the office
  • Assisting with email inquiries/issues
  • Ensuring confidentiality of all data
  • Data entry
  • Scanning and filing of documents
  • Assisting other payroll processors as needed
  • Packaging payrolls for delivery
  • Compiling payroll data and entering data along with reconciling errors to maintain payroll records using computer or calculator.
  • Start to finish payroll processing for designated client list
  • Reviewing wages computed and correcting errors to ensure accuracy of payroll.
  • Preparing periodic reports of earnings taxes and deductions as needed.
  • Working with various time systems and imports
  • Learning how to troubleshoot more complex payroll issues
  • Assisting in set up of add on services such as leave accruals exports reporting etc.
  • Preparing and printing of checks and reports
  • Maintaining excellent customer service and professionalism with all staff and clients.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements Include:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Previous Office Experience
  • Previous Payroll Experience
  • Must be a self-starter reliable willing to grow with the company a great people person and very detail-oriented.
  • Must be able to work Monday-Friday 9 am-5 pm in office

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20 Per Hour Based on Experience
