Job Title: Parts Order & Delivery Specialist (Power Plant Industry)
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Job Location: Bakersfield CA (On-Site)
Salary Range:$18.00 $25.00/hour (DOE)
Position Summary:
Key Staffing is hiring a reliable and experienced Parts Order & Delivery Specialist to support a leading companyin power plant shutdowns. This hands-on role is ideal for candidates with a background in the oil gas or power plant industry and knowledge of industrial components. This position ensures timely procurement and delivery of critical parts and materials.

Performance Objectives:
Accurately order and source industrial parts such as pipes flanges gaskets and valves
Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and correct specifications
Deliver parts and materials to various job sites using a company vehicle
Maintain updated inventory and purchasing records
Support shutdown crews by fulfilling urgent parts requests
Communicate clearly with project managers and suppliers to align on needs
Key Competencies:
Strong understanding of industrial components and shutdown logistics
Detail-oriented with excellent organization and follow-through
Effective communicator with internal teams and vendors
Time management skills and ability to work independently
Reliable safety-conscious driver with route familiarity
Education & Experience Requirements:
Prior experience in oil gas energy or power plant industries
Knowledge of industrial parts (gaskets valves flanges pipe fittings)
Experience in purchasing inventory or delivery coordination
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid CA drivers license with clean driving record (required)
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks related to parts handling and delivery
Willingness to work outdoors and travel locally as needed
