Systems engineering organization provides end-to-end solutions encompassing the entire lifecycle of complex systems. From initial concept and requirements analysis through design development integration testing and deployment such an organization ensures seamless coordination across multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative high-performance systems. By combining technical expertise project management skills and a holistic approach to system design a systems engineering organization optimizes efficiency and ensures that solutions meet both functional and operational requirements.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled systems engineer to work on the sPHEV propulson system starting on P768 program. You will work with other systems engineers functional SMEs and Technical Specialists by leveraging advanced technologies to improve quality and efficiency. You will work with the team for full system engineering Systems MBFMA and systems delivery.

In this position...

• Analyze complex systems.
• Develop benchmarks and innovative multi-functional solutions that meet vehicle cost weight labor and performance objectives and satisfy customer needs and expectations.
• Lead trade-off discussions in Systems Engineering Reviews.
• Develop benchmarks for cross-functional systems including cost weight labor and function. Work with purchasing to determine cost effective sourcing of the system.
• Cascade realistic/balanced targets and functional breakdown to deliver quality and value.
• Showing systems engineering application in SET Vehicle perspective including System Design Sign-off.
• Analysis and modeling of electromechanical systems.
• Use SysML (Magic Draw) for an understanding of the system ensuring that the components present their different interconnections in the Boundary Diagrams that allow an extraction of the Requirements involved in the system and full selection of the Test Methods to be evaluated at system level.
• Create free body diagrams and mathematical equations that represent the electromechanical system to create an Analytical Model and thus be able to create simulations in MATLAB.
• Analyze physical and functional interactions between mechanical elements and software elements of the complete sPHEV propulsion system.

Problem-Solving and Training:

• Achieve 100% completion of training requirements in root cause analysis problem-solving techniques and statistical methods.
• Ensure employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles through certification requirements.

Robustness and Quality:

• Ensure 100% robust completion of the Robustness Checklist process and sign-offs to minimize the risk of failures and ensure the reliability of parts and subsystems.
• Enhance quality and simplify designs reduce costs and improve efficiency through design complexity reduction efforts and reducing part count.
• Reduce potential issues and ensuring system level requirements are developed and signed off by Technical Specialists.

Technology and Innovation:

• Technical knowledge of tools: 3DX/Catia/TCe/FEDE SysML (Magic Draw) CAE (IPS) Optimization (Simulink MATLAB LABVIEW SIMSOLID) JIRA.
• Signal processing and analysis. Circuit analysis. Fundamentals of Control Theory. Data acquisition systems. HiL. Utilize LLM and Smart FMA AI for MBFMA to leverage advanced technologies and improve speed and accuracy.
  

Youll have...

• Bachelors degree in engineering.
• 5 years of experience in systems engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of mechanisms material properties and manufacturability of DC motors. Great emotional resilience to negotiate cross functional trade-offs. Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles practices and tools.
• Experience with advanced technologies such as LLM and Smart FMA AI. Excellent communication collaboration and problem-solving skills. Strong systems thinking and analytical skills.

Even better you may have...

• Masters degree in engineering.
• Experience in system architecture development and process requirements derivation following a structured engineering processes based on the use of trade studies to drive architecture requirements and design.
• Experience in Architecture Modelling. Experience Modelling Automotive Systems or Integration of Multiple Systems into a vehicle.
