Job Overview
Jain Software headquartered in Raipur is seeking a mid-level Software Project Manager to join our team. This full-time role requires a candidate with 4 to 6 years of professional experience in project management who will lead projects from concept to completion ensuring adherence to quality timeline and cost expectations while driving innovation. The position is based in Raipur and offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience of 4 to 6 years in managing software development projects with a strong grasp of project management methodologies.
- Proficiency in using Jira for project tracking and management to ensure projects meet the required standards and timelines.
- Strong background in risk management with the ability to identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Expertise in resource allocation to efficiently utilize team skills tools and technologies to drive project success.
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies with hands-on experience in leading agile teams to deliver software solutions.
- Demonstrated ability in cross-functional collaboration fostering a culture of teamwork and partnership among diverse teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of liaising with internal teams and client stakeholders effectively.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on logical thinking and iterative problem-solving to tackle diverse software challenges.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Plan execute and deliver software projects from concept through completion with adherence to scope time and budget constraints.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define project scope objectives and deliverables that meet client requirements.
- Oversee project schedules and ensure deadlines are met while maintaining high-quality standards of all deliverables.
- Engage in risk management by identifying project risks early and implementing effective mitigation plans to address them.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning daily stand-ups retrospectives and reviews to ensure effective team collaboration.
- Allocate resources optimally to enhance project performance ensuring team productivity and project alignment with business goals.
