Job Description

Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Company (CISC) - a service provider working exclusively for the global fund management company Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) is currently looking for a Development Associate to join our office in Melbourne Australia

The role

As an Associate you will be closely involved in the development and construction of CIPs renewable energy projects in Australia such as onshore wind battery solar or hydro projects. You will form part of the team and will help with analysis presentations and decision material for example by analyzing budgets risks schedules delivering reporting for Steering Committee meetings with internal and external owners. You will assist with implementing project management standards and project delivery model.

Responsibilities will further consist of :

Analysis

Providing detailed analytics with a focus on the investments risk mitigation and value creation initiatives including for example financial technical contractual or commercial related topics

Delivering high quality reporting to CIPTTs senior management on the investments performance and status

Project Management

Assist with analysis of project schedules critical path and float assessment for projects

Assist with Risk Management Plans and consolidate and maintain Risk/opportunity baseline risk & opportunity register monte carlo simulations contingency assessment EML-studies towards insurance companies.

Facilitate implementation of the CIPTT Project Model Stage Gates and Governance requirements.

Facilitate and consolidate project progress reporting and decision material to Shareholders (steerco and boards) in collaboration with the project management team.

Preferred Candidate

We are looking for an Associate holding a degree in Engineering Economics Business or similar fields with 1-2 years of work experience within project management asset management management consulting or other renewable energy industries.

We look for the following in a candidate:

  • Structured approach with focus on detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to navigate across technical commercial and financial disciplines
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English and ability to turn complex issues into simple and understandable solutions
  • Advanced skills within Excel and PowerPoint are a requirement
  • Ability to drive processes proactively and independently managing multiple on-going tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Experience with managing complex stakeholder environments and interacting/communicating with senior management
  • Self-starter who takes ownership drives processes forward while navigating in a fast-paced environment
