Job Description

Sales Manager Grand Rapids MI

DISHER is currently partnering with a collaborative community-oriented organization based in Grand Rapids to hire a Sales Manager. This companys mission is to create opportunities for transformation. We are looking someone with a diverse skill set who has the ability to identify market opportunities for a variety of services an event venue business consulting services and landscaping services.

What youll get to do:

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across commercial nonprofit educational and private sectors
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals
    • Conduct needs assessments and deliver customized sales presentations to prospective clients
    • Represent the organization at industry events networking and pre-bid meetings
    • Prepare detailed proposals negotiate contracts and successfully close sales
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction
    • Monitor market trends and provide strategic feedback to enhance sales approaches

What will make you successful:

    • Bachelors degree preferred in business marketing communications or related field
    • Minimum of 2 years sales experience in professional services events consulting or similar industries
    • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
    • Strong communication presentation and negotiation skills
    • Comfortable engaging with a variety of audiences including executives and community leaders
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Passionate about community transformation and social impact
