The Role
Quantitative Analyst (Portfolio and Credit Risk) at Oodle Car Finance.
Location and working style
Were based in Shoreditch London a 3-minute walk from Old Street station. While we operate under a hybrid working model initial onboarding requires 2-3 office days weekly. This ensures a smooth learning curve and fosters team integration.
Overview:
Were on the lookout for a Graduate Quantitative Analyst Portfolio and Credit Riskto join our expanding team. This role will give you an opportunity to dive into a world of data strategic analytics and funding driven initiatives all while reporting into the Credit Risk function. Youll not only be influencing our approach to driving profitable originations but will also touch upon areas like Customer Management Credit Risk and Finance. - sounds exciting right!
Your impact:
Who you are:
Highly numerate graduate or junior analyst with a STEM or financial background. This could include qualifications such as a BSc MSc or PhD in areas like mathematics statistics chemistry physics economics or finance but other relevant qualifications or experience will also be considered.
Analytical thinker with a natural aptitude for identifying patterns and deriving meaningful insights from data with the ability to work with both quantitative and qualitative data sources.
A proactive problem solver comfortable working both independently and collaboratively with the ability to tackle challenges directly linked to the businesss performance.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential as the role involves interaction with a broad range of stakeholders.
A genuine interest in Finance Economics and FinTech.
Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with coding (e.g. SQL Python) data processing data visualisation or credit risk is beneficial but not essential.
Experience with Excel modelling is considered an advantage.
