Job Description
Medical Director (Administrative) Permanent Role
- Location: Killeen TX 76543
- Assignment Duration: Permanent
- Shift: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Guaranteed: 40 Hours
- Compensation: Based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Lead supervise and support the clinical team to deliver high-quality evidence-based care.
- Oversee clinical protocols ensure compliance with medical policies and maintain best practices in patient care.
- Guide and develop medical staff in clinical performance quality outcomes and professional growth.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on operational strategy resource allocation and performance improvement.
- Monitor and evaluate clinical performance metrics patient satisfaction and safety standards.
- Serve as a clinical advisor in the development of health programs and initiatives.
- Support recruitment credentialing and ongoing evaluation of physicians and mid-level providers.
- Represent the organization in professional and community settings as needed.
Key Success Factors:
- Strong knowledge of medical diagnostics and treatments including drug interactions and preventive care.
- Expertise in methods and procedures for the diagnosis treatment and rehabilitation of physical and mental conditions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High-level interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Critical thinking and complex problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications:
- Doctorate Degree in Medicine (MD or DO)
- Current license to practice medicine in the State of Texas (Texas Medical Board)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
- Proven clinical experience; leadership/administrative experience preferred
- Strong commitment to team-based patient-centered care
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across disciplines
