Job Description

Medical Director (Administrative) Permanent Role
  • Location: Killeen TX 76543
  • Assignment Duration: Permanent
  • Shift: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
  • Guaranteed: 40 Hours
  • Compensation: Based on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead supervise and support the clinical team to deliver high-quality evidence-based care.
  • Oversee clinical protocols ensure compliance with medical policies and maintain best practices in patient care.
  • Guide and develop medical staff in clinical performance quality outcomes and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on operational strategy resource allocation and performance improvement.
  • Monitor and evaluate clinical performance metrics patient satisfaction and safety standards.
  • Serve as a clinical advisor in the development of health programs and initiatives.
  • Support recruitment credentialing and ongoing evaluation of physicians and mid-level providers.
  • Represent the organization in professional and community settings as needed.

Key Success Factors:

  • Strong knowledge of medical diagnostics and treatments including drug interactions and preventive care.
  • Expertise in methods and procedures for the diagnosis treatment and rehabilitation of physical and mental conditions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High-level interpersonal and collaborative skills.
  • Critical thinking and complex problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Doctorate Degree in Medicine (MD or DO)
  • Current license to practice medicine in the State of Texas (Texas Medical Board)
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
  • Proven clinical experience; leadership/administrative experience preferred
  • Strong commitment to team-based patient-centered care
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across disciplines
