Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery for a 13-week travel/contract position in Beverly MA 01915.
Job Highlights:
- Shift: 12hr Nights
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Pay: $2520 - $2664
- Provide direct patient care during all stages of labor and delivery including triage active labor delivery and postpartum recovery.
- Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs interpret fetal heart monitoring strips and recognize complications.
- Assist with vaginal deliveries cesarean sections and emergency procedures.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed (e.g. IV therapy epidurals oxytocin magnesium sulfate).
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families throughout the labor and delivery process.
- Document all aspects of patient care accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Maintain a sterile and safe environment in compliance with hospital protocols and best practices.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and effective care.
Required:
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts
- Minimum 1 year of recent L&D nursing experience
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
Preferred:
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
- Prior travel nursing experience.
