Job Description
Position: CNC Lathe/Mill Machinist Manager
Shift: 2nd Shift 11:00 AM 7:00 PM)
Pay Rate: $30 - $35/hr 5 Bonus
Location: Naples FL
Relocation Assistance: Provided
Machines Used in Department:
Candidates should have hands-on experience with or familiarity with the following machines (or similar models from other brands):

Job Summary:
Operate CNC Lathe production machines using blueprints sketches and route sheets. Contribute to lean initiatives to improve productivity and reduce costs. Work collaboratively in a team environment with general guidance.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate production machines performing operations such as cutting shaping deburring forming drilling and reaming.

Adjust feeds speeds and depth of cut to meet quality specifications.

Perform secondary operations (tapping chamfering countersinking etc. to close tolerances.
-
Inspect parts using measuring instruments gauges comparators and magnification equipment.
-
Maintain equipment for cleanliness accuracy and reliability per division standards.
-
Accurately perform Statistical Process Control (SPC) as required.
-
Participate in lean initiatives suggesting improvements and applying lean tools.
-
Follow all company policies including safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
-
2 years of machining experience.
-
Ability to read blueprints specifications and verbal instructions.
-
Working knowledge of machine shop mathematics (including trigonometry).
-
Experience with lean manufacturing principles.
-
Strong verbal written and interpersonal communication skills.
-
Ability to interpret reports and use job-specific software.
-
Basic computer proficiency.
-
May require forklift certification and ability to operate moving/saw equipment (OSHA-compliant).
-
Manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
