Job Description
Job Title: Microsoft Intune Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Start Date: Immediate
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Intune Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) and Microsoft Intune to support and enhance our endpoint management environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and deploying application packages managing system configurations and enrolling and maintaining mobile devices using Intune. This role demands a strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure and endpoint security best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Create test and deploy automated and silent application installation packages using MECM and Intune
Develop and manage task sequences driver packages and maintain collection and boundary groups within MECM
Ensure distribution point health perform regular system maintenance tasks and troubleshoot MECM-related issues
Configure and manage device compliance policies configuration profiles and app protection policies in Intune
Oversee Autopilot deployment profiles and support co-management setup between MECM and Intune
Enroll and manage mobile devices through Microsoft Intune
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support enterprise-wide endpoint management strategies
Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards in all endpoint management activities
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience 3 years) with Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM)
Hands-on expertise in application packaging and deployment for large-scale environments
Strong understanding of device compliance configuration profiles and Autopilot deployment in Intune
Experience with co-management and hybrid MECM-Intune environments
Familiarity with mobile device enrollment app protection policies and enterprise mobility
Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Strong communication and documentation abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft certifications such as MD-102 MS-101 or Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
Experience in large enterprise or government environments
Knowledge of scripting tools (e.g. PowerShell) for automation and deployment
