Job Description
Job Title: Project Manager - Databricks
Location: Boston MA (Hybrid/On-site)
Job Type: Long-termKey Responsibilities:
Lead and manage Databricks-related projects from initiation through delivery.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including data engineers data scientists and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals and timelines.
Develop detailed project plans defining milestones tasks and deadlines.
Track project progress and resolve any issues or roadblocks that may arise.
Ensure the successful deployment of data solutions and integration with other platforms.
Communicate project updates and progress to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to best practices in data governance security and compliance.
Manage project risks and ensure proper mitigation plans are in place. Qualifications:
Proven experience managing data-focused projects ideally in the Databricks or big data ecosystem.
Strong knowledge of data analytics machine learning and cloud technologies (AWS Azure GCP).
Solid understanding of Databricks Apache Spark and data engineering workflows.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
PMP or other project management certifications preferred.
5 years of experience in project management or related roles.
