Job Description

Assignment overview and scope of work / deliverables

The video production company or consultant shall:

  • Provide photo and video documentation of the DFCD event in Phnom Penh in August including key moments speeches and audience engagement for use in reporting and promotional content.
  • Propose a compelling visual concept aligned with DFCDs narrative on climate finance and resilience in LDCs.
  • Collaborate with SNV on storyboarding scripting and translations.
  • Conduct interviews with DFCD-supported business leaders (e.g. SOGE AMRU Kofi) and community members.
  • Film in Phnom Penh and at selected field sites as listed above (e.g. irrigation systems processing centres farms).
  • Deliver a final 3-minute broadcast-quality video in English (with Khmer subtitles or alternate versions) ready for event screening and digital distribution.
  • Provide raw footage and 1015 b-roll clips per location for future communications.

Suggested video concept (to be refined with video production company/consultant):

A dynamic visually engaging 3-minute video that captures Cambodias DFCD journey. Through interviews with businesses like SOGE AMRU and Kofi and reflections from project sites the video will show how SNVs blend of technical assistance and de-risking support through DFCD enables inclusive climate-resilient business models from solar irrigation to sustainable processing and regenerative farming. The film will also illustrate the anticipated community-level benefits these investments aim to deliver: improved livelihoods greater water and energy access and enhanced resilience for smallholder farmers in the face of climate shocks.

Contract project fees and duration

The consultant will be contracted for an estimated 1012 working days between mid-June and early August 2025. Final delivery is expected by 10 August 2025.

Payment terms

Payments will be linked to deliverables and made in three tranches:

  • 30% upon contract signed and approval of the storyboard and scripts
  • 50% upon approval of the completion of filming
  • 20% upon delivery and acceptance of the final edited video and b-roll package

All payments are subject to approval of deliverables by SNV.


Qualifications :

  • Strong portfolio including short-form storytelling and development-focused video work
  • Experience filming in Cambodia or similar contexts especially with rural or community-based content
  • Creative and relevant concept proposal aligned with DFCD themes
  • Value for money and realistic budget proposal
