Assumption Catholic School is seeking a full-time first-grade teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. The position will begin on Monday August 29 2024 and go through June 2026. All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.
Job Description:
Lesson planning
Assessment reporting and regular communication with parents
Maintain as fully as possible the established routines and procedures of the school and classroom to which he/she is assigned.
Assume responsibility for overseeing student behavior in class and during morning recess and other activities.
Attend all professional development activities on early-release days staff work days and occasional evenings.
Maintain appropriate records including marking student absences and tardies.
Report to the principal of any incidents of misbehavior.
Follow all school policies rules and procedures which good teaching dictates. Design and create essential classroom agreements with your students.

Hours of duty:
Salary: This is negotiable based on experience. This ranges from $47553per year to $72655(Maximum of twelve years is transferable from another district or school.) Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity internal salary ranges market data applicants skills and prior relevant experience degrees and certifications.

Qualifications: (Only qualified applicants will be reviewed.)
Bachelor of Arts or equivalent
Teaching certification required Masters preferred
Willingness to promote and educate in Christian values and Biblical teachings.
Practicing Catholic
Three years of primary teaching experience (Grades K-2) preferred
Start date: Fall 2025
