Job Description
- Apply differentiated instruction and assessment that improves achievement for all learners in a learner-centered and collaborative environment.
- Plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies activities materials and equipment that reflect understanding of the learning styles and needs of students assigned.
- Work with other members of staff to determine instructional goals objectives and methods of instruction.
- Implement research-based practices including differentiated instruction.
- Consistently create a high level of active student engagement and student-led learning.
- Use technology to strengthen the teaching/learning process including a FACTS Student Information System and the Google Suite. (Including Google Classroom)
- Create classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical social spiritual and emotional development of students.
- Manage student behavior in accordance with the Code of Conduct
- Create an environment of respect and rapport rooted in faith.
- Establish and maintain a professional relationship and open communication with parents students principals colleagues and community members.
- Use effective communication skills to present information accurately and clearly using FACTS.
- 2 sections of Academy Visual Arts Curriculum
- Be willing to be a building substitute for other classroom teachers including Art
