MaineGeneral Medical Center is seeking a PMHNP to join our Inpatient Behavioral Health team. Our 30-bed inpatient unit treats adults 18 years old and older for acute mental health disorders and/or medical detox.

This position is a 24 hour position working Saturday and Sunday with a half day on Monday freeing you up to do all of the things you need to during the week.

MaineGeneral offers a full range of care for people with mental health or substance use treatment from inpatient acute stabilization through an array of outpatient services our goal is to help people and families build healthy relationships and satisfying lives. We provide brief hospitalization while developing plans for continuing treatment when patients can leave our care. Patients are referred from the community crisis system emergency departments and physicians.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a PMHNP however we will consider the exceptional new graduate. You will be joining a team of 6 Psychiatrists and 7 PMHNP excellent experienced nurses social workers and mental health workers.

This is an exempt position; you will be required to be part of the call schedule. Must be licensed in the State of Maine as a PMHNP and be credentialed with our Medical Staff.
