Healthcare Assistant
12.50 per hour rotation of day and night shifts

As a Healthcare Assistant youll play a vital role in delivering high-quality person-centred care. From supporting daily routines to building genuine caring relationships with residents youll help make each day as comfortable dignified and enriching as possible.

What Were Looking For
- Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferably in a care home environment.
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards residents and their families.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with residents and colleagues.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment supporting and assisting others as needed.
- Reliable and responsible work ethic demonstrating professionalism and discretion in maintaining patient confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting residents in their daily living activities including bathing dressing and eating.
- Monitoring and recording patient vital signs and promptly reporting any changes to the medical staff.
- Providing emotional support and companionship to residents while maintaining their dignity and privacy.
- Assisting residents with mobility and safe transfers as needed.
- Ensuring a clean and safe environment for residents including their rooms and communal areas.
- Adhering to individual care plans and following medical professionals instructions.
- Effectively communicating with residents their families and the wider healthcare team.
