Healthcare Assistant

12.50 per hour rotation of day and night shifts

Our client offers exceptional residential and dementia care within a warm welcoming environment.

As a Healthcare Assistant youll play a vital role in delivering high-quality person-centred care. From supporting daily routines to building genuine caring relationships with residents youll help make each day as comfortable dignified and enriching as possible.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for care who wants to make a real difference in the lives of older adults and be valued for it.

What Were Looking For

  • Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferably in a care home environment.
  • Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards residents and their families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with residents and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment supporting and assisting others as needed.
  • Reliable and responsible work ethic demonstrating professionalism and discretion in maintaining patient confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting residents in their daily living activities including bathing dressing and eating.
  • Monitoring and recording patient vital signs and promptly reporting any changes to the medical staff.
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to residents while maintaining their dignity and privacy.
  • Assisting residents with mobility and safe transfers as needed.
  • Ensuring a clean and safe environment for residents including their rooms and communal areas.
  • Adhering to individual care plans and following medical professionals instructions.
  • Effectively communicating with residents their families and the wider healthcare team.
