Jefferson Healthcare is seeking a full-time experienced Cook to join our team. We are committed to serving our community through the meals we provide to our patients staff and the wider community. As a Cook you will play a vital role within the Food & Nutrition Team preparing meals for the patients and staff of Jefferson Healthcare. Additionally you will be responsible for a variety of food preparation tasks cooking conducting quality control checks and implementing infection control techniques. What youll need:
- High school education or GED preferred
- Formal culinary education/degree preferred
- Active and current Food Handlers Permit required
- Valid Washington State Drivers License and proof of insurance
- Two years of kitchen experience preferred
- Must stay current in proper food handling knowledge and meet any Hospital mandated education requirements associated with this position
Schedule: 1.0 FTE; 40 hours/week; Variable shift
