Job Description
Assembly Mishawaka IN
$18/hr. Monday - Thursday possible OT on Friday. 6:30am to 5pm
Assembling kits from the water jet or inspecting assembled kits and packaging them for shipment to the customer.
Requirements:
Must have great attention to detail and good measurement skills. Follow detailed work instructions blueprints and diagrams to assemble products.
Operate and maintain assembly tools and equipment including hand tools power tools and specialized machinery. Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Conduct visual and functional inspections of components and assemblies to identify defects or non-conformances.
Report any quality issues or discrepancies to the supervisor and participate in corrective action processes.
Maintain accurate records of assembly activities including work orders inspection results and production logs. Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required for specific tasks.
Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately and participate in safety training sessions. anticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency product quality and workplace safety.
Provide feedback and suggestions for improving assembly processes tools and workstations. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues and implement best practices.
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
Assist in training new assembly technicians and share knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
Communicate effectively with other departments such as quality control engineering and logistics to ensure smooth production flow
