Monitor and audit assembly processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues related to assembly.
Develop review and update quality control procedures work instructions and inspection plans.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including production design and procurement to resolve quality-related concerns.
Conduct in-process and final inspections of assembled products using appropriate tools and methods.
Manage non-conformance reports (NCR) and ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure component quality meets required standards.
Participate in internal and external audits (ISO/TS/AS standards as applicable).
Provide training and support to assembly line operators on quality procedures and defect prevention.
Maintain quality documentation and generate regular quality performance reports for management.
Bachelor s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
Certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g. ISO 9001 Six Sigma) is an advantage.
Strong understanding of manufacturing assembly processes and quality assurance principles.
Experience with quality tools such as 8D FMEA SPC MSA and CAPA.
Proficient in using inspection tools such as calipers micrometers gauges and CMM.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
Hands-on experience with ERP and quality reporting systems.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma practices preferred.
