Location: UHealth Tower
The Senior Food Service Worker (U) prepares a variety of foods according to proper preparation methods as identified by the managing staff. Moreover the Senior Food Service Worker (U) performs standard food service work including sanitation duties and various serving responsibilities and confirms food handling procedures and government regulations are complied with at all times.
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS:
Serves and delivers food items in a timely fashion.
Maintains work area and facilities in general in a clean and tidy state.
Utilizes equipment and ensures proper working conditions.
Supervises and trains junior staff members.
Monitors related laundry services and food purchasing and stocking.
Prepares special orders under the supervision of senior staff.
Receives food items and supplies and stores them appropriately.
Assists in the planning or modification of menus.
Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

Experience:
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Knowledge Skills and Attitudes:
Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
Ability to analyze organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
Ability to work evenings nights and weekends as necessary.

Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment.
