What You Will Do:

• You will prepare a variety of surface prep and repair operations on aero-engine turbine airfoil components
• May include grit blasting masking blending and other routine task
• You will assist in the development of other team members.
• You will perform any aspect of this role in assigned area to improve personal development.
• We perform unrelated duties as may be necessary to support the needs of the facility.
• We perform job in compliance with all environmental health and safety rules procedures and policies.

• You will complete tasks at the highest level of safety awareness
• This position is 2nd Shift. Hours are Monday - Thursday 2:30pm - 1:00am (4x10).

Qualifications You Must Have:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent with a minimum of 1-year relevant experience
• U.S. Person or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required

• Ability to utilize precision measuring instruments (Vernier calipers micrometers etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Craft clear communication

Pratt & Whitney Grand Prairie TX is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportations Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles commuting to and from the assigned site is the employees personal responsibility.
