Position Summary:
Supervises warehouse and/ or production activities and personnel. Assigns staff and monitors the flow of products through the plant. Make recommendations for process improvement.
Essential Functions:
Ensures operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming receipts and outgoing shipments handling and disposition of products and keeping warehouse inventory current.
Inspects the physical condition of the warehouse and equipment. Communicates the need for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment.
Collaborates with other distribution centers and business leaders to ensure coordination of all business.
Participates in employee safety and plant protection activities.
Provides leadership ensures adherence to company practices and procedures applies corrective action when needed.
Interviews trains and retains staff. Conducts performance monitoring of staff initiates follow through with disciplinary action when appropriate for the department. Mentors motivates and develops staff and serves as a role model and resource to them
Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
Excellent attention to detail and strong motivation toward company team and individual results.
Ability to work effectively with others as well as build and maintain appropriate interpersonal relationships.
Must be able to read analyze present and interpret written documentation.
Ability to respond to questions from groups of managers
Must have good time management and organizational skills.
Must have a good understanding of USDA regulations.
Ability to solve business problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written verbal diagram or schedule formats.
Employees in all warehouse positions must be able to immediately perceive auditory warning signals such as bells alarms and horns that are used to warn employees of the start-up movement or approach of equipment (including forklifts turrets overhead cranes conveyors trucks and other equipment operated inside or outside the warehouse) mechanical abnormalities and similar risk situations during warehouse operations.

Desktop or laptop computer.
Networked printer/ copier/ scanner.
Google Applications (Chrome Gmail Calendar Docs Sheets Slides Drive etc.)
Microsoft Office Products (Excel Word PowerPoint Internet Explorer)
Telephone and Voicemail.

Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV)
Shrink wrap machine
Minimum Years of Experience:
3 Warehouse experience required. At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred
