Overview
As a Cleaner Jobs in London youll play a vital role in maintaining a clean safe and welcoming environment for all gym members and staff. Youll work across various gym and fitness settings as part of the Medicare People Facilities Team ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are upheld throughout the premises.
We have a number of cleaning shifts available across different gym facilities in London.
What youll do
Carry out general cleaning duties including floors equipment locker rooms showers and communal areas.
Use appropriate cleaning products and methods in line with health and safety regulations.
Ensure gym equipment is sanitised regularly to maintain hygiene standards.
Monitor and restock cleaning and hygiene supplies as needed.
Report maintenance or safety issues promptly to the site manager.
Follow all cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure consistent service delivery.
Support the smooth running of the gym by maintaining a tidy and orderly environment.
Provide a friendly and professional presence occasionally interacting with staff and members.
Work flexibly as part of a wider team to support operational needs.
Adhere strictly to infection control procedures and cleanliness protocols.
What youll bring
A minimum of 6 months of professional cleaning experience (preferably in commercial or gym environments).
High attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
Understanding of COSHH and health & safety standards.
Reliability punctuality and the ability to work independently.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive can-do attitude and pride in delivering a clean and safe space for others.
