The Opportunity

We are seeking an Electronic Repair Technician II to perform advanced testing troubleshooting and repair of complex electronic systems and components. This role requires intermediate-level expertise in analog digital and RF circuit analysis along with strong diagnostic and repair skills. The Technician will also support the development of repair processes and technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing quality efficiency and test system design. This position is ideal for candidates with a solid foundation in electronics and a proactive approach to hands-on problem-solving.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Review test and repair returned electronic products to OEM specifications.
  • Perform advanced component-level troubleshooting on analog digital and RF circuits.
  • Conduct QA testing to ensure products meet strict performance and compliance standards.
  • Complete detailed rework and soldering tasks using SMT and PTH techniques.
  • Operate electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes multimeters power supplies and RF tools.
  • Create revise and maintain repair documentation work instructions and test protocols.
  • Design and build custom test fixtures including programming basic functions when applicable.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of repairs and inventory through internal systems.
  • Support ISO 13485 compliance by following and improving quality processes.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities youll need for this opportunity:

  • Associate degree or 2-3 years of completed bachelors coursework in electronics or related field or
  • Military electronics training with 7 years of applicable experience.
  • 2-5 years of hands-on electronic repair experience required.
  • Intermediate-level expertise in analog digital and RF circuit troubleshooting.
  • Advanced proficiency in soldering and PCB rework techniques (SMT and PTH).
  • Strong understanding of schematics component-level diagnostics and test procedures.
  • Experience with electronic test tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills with strong documentation habits.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced detail-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485 quality standards is a plus.
