Job Description
Mutually Inclusive elevates the voices in our community who are working to create change. Each 30-minute episode explores historically underrepresented subjects within our West Michigan landscape partnering with our neighbors to shape truthful narratives.

Part-time. Maximum 29 hours per week. $15.65/hour
Compensation:
Internship credit in this position is available
Transportation to shoots is provided; mileage & meals are reimbursable if needed
Responsibilities:
Work with the WGVU Content team to plan and create original social/digital media video and images
Create short-form content from existing episodes of Mutually Inclusive for use on social media
Attend field shoots to capture social/digital media video and behind the scenes content
Craft written copy for post captions and online publications
Other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Experience with different social media platforms and knowledge of best practices
Proficient video editor with knowledge of Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro
Ability to craft original social media copy
Comfortable working both on your own and in collaboration with teams
Proactive adaptive learner
Flexible schedule during the week from 8am to 5pm some night/weekend work included work from home on occasion
Working Conditions:
Normal office environment. Flexible work hours: 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday in office preferred. Remote work options available.
