Role Impact:
This role is to lead the functionality integrity and effectiveness of the companys cloud services environments. This role will be hands-on while also leading a team focused on core cloud services. These accountabilities include managing the activities and operational procedures required to deliver with internal external and partner relationships maintaining and operating current and future environments.
What you will deliver:
Recommend cloud strategies to migrate on premise data centres to the cloud as appropriate optimize cloud provider models and usage and operational policies and procedures to support governance and controls for property and corporate system environments.
- Support senior management with the development evaluation implementation and ongoing operation of technological initiatives that will enhance business goals and operational effectiveness.
- Supports the design of detailed plans and approaches as well as conducting critical reviews of new processes or processes that will integrate with existing solutions/infrastructure
- Understands current and future technical platform hardware operating systems and service layers
- Develop and maintain Information Technology (IT) asset strategic plans including annual reports to senior management that ensure all aspects of the departments environment meet the existing and future
- Partner with the Procurement function for vendor relationships and license management processes
- Ensure the successful implementation of significant integration projects encompassing aspects such as access controls lifecycle management cost control timelines and resource allocation
- Effectively manage a team through setting of objectives regular feedback and coaching performance appraisals and personal developmental while providing guidance with policies procedures and standards
- Configures and deploys cloud services

What you need to succeed:
- University or College degree in the field of computer science business administration or relevant experience
- V3 ITIL Essentials Certification process awareness and best practices
- Minimum of 7 years experience managing and/or directing technological operations
- Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience working with multi-platform systems and related software
- Minimum of 3-5 years management or supervisory experience within a customer-focused IT operations environment
- Experience in strategic technology planning execution and policy development
- Excellent knowledge of technology environments including workflow development access control platforms and associated policy management
- Working understanding of project management principles
- Working understanding of Product Lifecycle Management
- Proven experience in planning organization and development
- Demonstrated ability to assess value of technology solutions to business problems
- Experience of applicable governances as they relate to access control technologies
- Experience with IaaS PaaS and hybrid cloud environments
- Experience with Jira Confluence Smartsheet and Tableau etc.
