Overview

Fountain Tire Delta is searching for a friendly and knowledgeable Automotive Service Managerto manage the operations of the mechanical service department to drive productivity quality assurance and to promote a high level of customer satisfaction.

As a Service Manager your duties will include:

  • Overseeing and managing mechanical and tire services
  • Setting quality standards and maintaining thequality of all shopactivities
  • Ensuring completion of shop maintenance and repair work
  • Addressing customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous professional manner
  • Advising techniciansof work that must be completed
  • Ensuring technicians compliance with company standardsregardingquality safety and customer service
  • Managing the morale in the shop by setting and demonstrating a strong business ethic for dealing with employees suppliers and customers
  • Ordering Parts for mechanical jobs
  • Maintain Inventory levels for oils & filters
  • Create work orders arrange bookings and communicate them to technicians.
  • Provide service quotes and receive customer authorization for work to be performed on vehicles finalize sales and complete customer follow up.

Our ideal candidate has/is:

  • 2 years of professional experience as a Service Manager or Service Advisor required
  • Must be available to work Saturdays
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical services & parts
  • Proven effective leadership skills with a strong focus on operations and business processes
  • High level of integrity and accountability
  • A customer service focus
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Continuously looking to learn and use new skills and the demonstrated ability to recognize opportunities for improvements
